On 30 October, Pakistan’s Special Investment Facilitation Council informed a Senate committee that around 38 projects across mining, industry, railways, roads, maritime affairs, power, IT, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, tourism and food security could attract approximately US$40 billion in investment. Officials also reported that five refineries had signed implementation agreements involving proposed investment of around US$6 billion.
The pipeline reflects the government’s continued efforts to attract foreign investment and facilitate large-scale development projects. Public institutions and project partners can explore opportunities in investment monitoring, digital administration and infrastructure analytics. HPC can support these activities with secure data systems and high-performance computing; contact HPC for a quotation based on the project scope.
